The candy shop war is an astounding book about what happened to a boy named Nate when a new candy shop opened up in town and the owner is an evil witch bent on taking over the world. Her name is Ms.White and she has a secret weapon: magical candy that gives you superpowers. Can nate and his friends stop the precarious Ms.White from taking over the world? You’ll have to read the book to find out!

I first read The Candy Shop War when I read the second book in the series and I decided I should read the first book so I could better understand what was going on. Reading the book paid off and often I had many “ah ha!” moments when I thought ”oh, so that’s why they did what they did in Arcade Catastrophe.” If you like the author, read the 2nd book or enjoy a good Fantasy, this book is for you.
