MSSAAB Podcast Updates

  • Coronavirus Update (3/13/2020)
As you can imagine, not having school in session is going to put a bit of a cramp on our podcasting, but hopefully not for long. We will be trying to figure out how to go ahead recording this podcast using Zoom or something like it, so you won’t have to go too long without another dose of middle school students arguing about books! :-)

  • Gene Luen Yang said yes! (3/12/2020)

Graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang, author and artist of American Born Chinese and Boxers and Saints, as well as many Avatar: the last airbender graphic novels, will be coming on our show to argue about graphic novels! We don’t have a fixed date or exact topic yet, but we’re super excited!

  • Gennifer Choldenko on MSSAAB March 24th! (3/11/2020)

That’s right — Gennifer Choldenko, author of the Al Capone Does my Shirts series and Chasing Secrets, is going to be calling in to the MSSAAB podcast on Tuesday, March 24th to argue with us about whether or not middle school students should read historical fiction! You won’t want to miss this exciting episode, the first of what we hope will be many featuring guest authors.
